Just a quick note so you don't think we've forgotten you!

 

Next week we will be at the Host show in Milan where we always find stunning examples of technology and design to show you. We will take our time to see everything in the Pavilions for food service equipment; bread, pizza, pasta; ice cream, confectionery; coffee; bar, coffee machines; and hotel & spa. Each Pavilion is a very large building, so there's lots to see. Look for a much longer newsletter shortly after we return.

 

I hope you all had a terrific summer, despite earthquakes, hurricanes and droughts. The sun always shines somewhere.

 

Tropical Storm Irene brought forth numerous calls and emails from friends who know we are in Vermont. Our Champlain Valley area was relatively unscathed compared to the rest of the state and the Northeast. Most Vermont roads are better than "passable" - so please don't cancel your fall foliage and skiing trips! The leaves are very colorful here.

 

At Ideas Well Done we are working on a variety of projects for clients and on our own. We're planning for our Third Innovation Showcase in May where we will show off products that are still in the last stages of development to a select list of invited guests. We use the Showcase to let experts in a variety of industry segments tell us what they think. It's a terrific learning experience for all of us.
